Some pics from the American Anthropological Association conference. It was wonderful to reconnect with colleagues and friends, learn more about their ongoing projects, get feedback on our work and upcoming books, celebrate new publications, and strengthen future collaborations in research, teaching, and collective action—especially around women’s and Indigenous health. It was also an important opportunity to discuss findings from my research on endometriosis and how the concept of biological citizenship contributes to the analysis and discussion of many women’s diagnostic trajectories.
