I had the opportunity to participate in the Introductory Course on Traditional and Complementary Medicine organized by the Colegio Médico del Perú (Peruvian College of Physicians). As I highlighted, ancestral knowledge and community practices have accompanied our societies for centuries. Today, their dialogue with evidence-based medicine opens new possibilities for a more integral approach to health care. Promoting research and intercultural integration in this field is essential to building a more human, inclusive, and sustainable health system.
